About Us
Seedlings Academy, is owned and operated by Allie Kilburn Kaminski (an educator and new Mom). Allie fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning a preschool that creates a safe and friendly environment based upon proven child development philosophies and support her passion for offering parents an outstanding child care experience for their children.
In addition to 18 years of experience working with children of all ages, Allie holds a BS degree in Child Development and Family Studies. From a day camp counselor, swim instructor, preschool teacher, substitute teacher and most recently working as a Program Specialist for a large national educational company providing services for Lee County Schools and several other areas across the nation. Allie is well versed in her child care experience.
Finding The Best Environment
Finding the best preschool to meet you and your child needs can be a difficult task. Seedlings Academy (located in Cape Coral and Fort Myers) is the answer for over 150 families. Seedlings Academy provides a safe and stress free environment for your child where they will be “organically nurtured” as an individual. Each child’s development (emotionally, socially and academically ) is met as our staff are experienced and class sizes are small with low teacher to child ratios.
In addition to using the Creative Curriculum, Seedlings Academy incorporates a STEAM learning experience throughout your child’s day. This provides skills and experiences to help your child grow as an individual, become a successful part of a group setting and prepare for successful learning when they leave Seedlings Academy and start their school experience. Meeting your needs is also important to finding the best preschool environment. Seedlings Academy provides all meals, snacks, and nap cots.
In addition, we use the Honest Company for our “all natural” diapers, wipes, creams, sunscreen, and bug spray, etc. For more information on the Honest Company, refer to www.thehonestcompany.com
Depending on your personal needs, Seedlings Academy will provide your infant with organic formula and natural baby food made by Seedlings Academy. If you prefer to provide these items, please let us know. Preschoolers will be provided with “healthy meals and snacks” and milk. Don’t be surprised if your preschoolers request broccoli at dinner.
